TIVAR® UHMW is a plastic with engineered properties personalized to various applications in the material handling industry. TIVAR® has been engineered to have a lower coefficient than stainless 304. For this reason, it is the plastic of choice for lining a wide-range of hoppers, chute, conveyors, etc. (Refer to our services page to see more lining applications.)

Lining with TIVAR® has numerous benefits. It can can help with things such as: arching, bridging, ratholing, carryback, spontaneous combustion, cross batch contamination and spoilage. If the project can be lined while it is new, it can help to protect it's integrity. For the lining application, if the steel is worn, the plastic could help extend the life of the machinery.
